Will You Be Crush3D by All These New Additions?

This week is an eventful one for the Nintendo download services, because 3DS owners will be graced with a brand new demo of Crush3D. Being developed by SEGA, the game centres around you helping the main character, Danny, escape his own confused and tangled imagination. Spooky stuff indeed.

Otherwise, this Thursday is one for lovers of retro. As well as Kirby’s Block Ball on the 3DS Virtual Console, there’s also The King of Fighters ’97 for Wii.

You can find all the pricing details for both the UK and Eurozone territories, complete with game descriptions you need below.

Crush3D
Demo (3DS, Free, SEGA)

Enter the C.R.U.S.H machine and work your way through a world created by your worries. This new puzzle-platform game from SEGA will have you thinking outside the box. You must crush from three dimensions to two (and back) in order to solve more than fifty levels – this looks seriously cool and makes great use of the 3D effect.

Kirby's Block Ball

Kirby’s Block Ball (3DS, €3.00/£2.70, Nintendo)

Taking a cue from Breakout, it’s up to you to bounce Kirby around, breaking blocks and destroying enemies while collecting a wealth of power-ups along the way.

Crazy Cheebo Puzzle Party

Crazy Cheebo: Puzzle Party (3DS/DSi, €2.00/£1.80/200 Nintendo DSi Points, Cypronia)

Match-3 fun from the folks over at Cypronia. You receive better awards as you match up more objects and create combos. There’s even a multiplayer mode to compete in.

Gaia’s Moon
(3DS, €2.00/£1.80/200 Nintendo DSi Points, EnjoyUp Games)

If you’re a fan of the absurdly tricky rocket barrel stages from Donkey Kong Country Returns or the flying sections of Rayman: Origins, then Gaia’s Moon will be right up your street. Navigate your way through deadly obstacles and find a way to prolong Gaia’s life before it’s too late!

Burgertime world tour logo

BurgerTime World Tour (Wii, 1000 Wii Points, MonkeyPaw Games)

Join our hero as he traverses the globe in search of hamburger heaven (I’m guessing McDonald’s isn’t his thing?). Build burgers quickly and escape from the angry veggies (our own team seems to do this a bit too much) as you enjoy four culinary capital worlds and compete on over twenty burger-filled levels. Can we get some fries with that?

The King of Fighters ’97 (Wii, 900 Wii Points, D4 Enterprise)

The fourth game in the classic series, King of Fighters ’97 allows players to choose from a variety of popular characters from Fatal Fury, Ikari Warriors, Psycho Soldier, Art of Fighting and other titles. In fact, the character roster changes with every iteration and new characters in this 1997 title include Chizuru Kagura – a boss character from the previous title – as well as popular SNK characters Ryuji Yamazaki, Blue Mary and Billy Kane, and new characters Yashiro Nanakase and Shingo Yabuki.

Other Download Activity

Surprisingly, there’s not actually anything new this week on Nintendo Video. Those that have not seen it yet will be glad to know that Transformation from The Flying Machine, the 3D puppet animation film that features an original recording of Frédéric Chopin’s Opus 10. No. 1 performed by world famous pianist Lang Lang, will be available for another week.

Moreover, the first instalment of Kirby: Right Back At Ya! and the Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace 3D trailer are still available to view.

We’ll have another weekly download list for you next week; be sure to check back at BnBGaming then!
